GeoStabilizer Concentrate

Soil stabilization & dust control

Mix with clean water before application.

Actual coverage and performance depend on soil and site conditions. A test section is recommended when conditions are uncertain.

Before you start

For suitable native soils and aggregates, including unpaved roads, pads, parking areas, trails, erosion-control areas, and dust-control projects. The rates below are typical road/pad stabilization guidance, not universal rates for every surface.

Evaluate soil gradation, moisture, and suitability. For engineered work, establish the final rate through representative soil testing or a field test section.

Prepare and mix

  1. Grade, rip, or scarify the treatment layer. Remove unsuitable debris and organic material.
  2. Mix with clean water at the project-specific dilution ratio. Typical stabilization guidance is 10:1 to 15:1 water to concentrate.
  3. Keep the mixture uniform during application. Adjust the design for soil type, existing moisture, climate, treatment depth, traffic, and required performance.

Apply, mix, and compact

  1. Apply the diluted solution uniformly through the treatment depth, using a water truck or sprayer and suitable mixing equipment.
  2. Blend thoroughly until uniform and moisture-condition the material as required for compaction.
  3. Grade to shape the surface, then compact with appropriate equipment to the project specification.

Equipment may include a traveling mixer or disc, a motor grader with rippers, a water truck, and an appropriately sized roller. Choose equipment for the soil, depth, and project scale.

Coverage and curing

Typical concentrate use is one gallon per 40–66 sq ft; the published benchmark is 66 sq ft per gallon of concentrate. Coverage refers to concentrate before dilution.

Allow 24–72 hours for curing under suitable conditions. Dry weather and sunshine are preferred. Protect the treated layer from rain and unnecessary traffic during curing. Do not apply if temperatures are expected to fall below 40°F during application or curing, or immediately before rain.

Handling and storage

Protect concentrate from freezing and prolonged temperature extremes. Review the current product label and Safety Data Sheet before handling; use appropriate eye and skin protection and follow site-specific safety requirements.
